    its a worcester 24si 11, the light is above the hot water dial, apparently its a fault indicatot, it flashes a number of times per second to indicate fault. the radiators were hot again couple hours ago, but then went cool again, the light stops sometimes then starts again.

    worcester combi boiler, radiators are lukewarm, hot taps barely tepid, warning light flashing rapidly. I had an engineer out he bled radiators and topped up the pressure, 2hrs after he left it was lukewarm again, light flashing. The pressure is sitting at 2, neither rising nor dropping...

    ground floor bathroom, the hot isnt coming through whether the cold is off or on, hot water in the sink/kitchen/wall shower all fine.

    thanks for the fast response. I thought if I left the laminate down, it would save putting down something else to level the floor as I have floorboards underneath?

    Help - removed radiator from combi system

    hi i changed the isolating valve for a new one, really quickly! The pressure is stable at 1 bar, and the valve seems fine, leaked a tiny bit first, but i tightened it a bit, and seems ok now. There was a wee bit of dampness would that just be what was inside the nut, fingers crossed!

    im going to buy the stop end/lockshield valves today. prob the stop end. i looked outside for the prv/tap but cant see one?

    I dont know anything about plumbing, while not wanting to rush this, i have lots more to do! Plus im not sure on draining the system, so i could cut the pipe, and screw on the new valve really quickly without flooding? ps is a lockshield valve and a stop end the same thing.
