Just noticed this on my Henley block between my meter and my consumer unit. Tails on left are to consumer unit, tails on right are to electricity meter.
I am unsure if the tails have worked lose over time due to never being tightened up properly in the first place or this has always been like...
I am after a new TV that meets the following specs, can anyone help me find one:
Resolution is 1920 x 1080 or Greater. (i.e. Not 1366 x 768)

Is new/current model.

I am currently paying 17p per Kwh for electricity and to me, that seems rather expensive!
Is that the average for the UK these days? I am in the south east if it is any relevance.

Just found this: https://www.bathroom-trends.co.uk/acatalog/Chrome-Decorative-Bathroom-Ceiling-Pull-Switch-FPK4-CH-29-8796.html
Not saying it's compliant or legal of course.
Just been looking at recent threads on this section of the forum and came to notice that BAS / Ban All Sheds is no longer arround?
What happened and when did he go?

Just started watching the following video, where it is claimed that the plastic bit in the string of pull cord switches is for insulation purposes and thus is a safety device.
I can understand this if true, although is new news to me. Any truth to this, have you heard this before, and is there...
Thanks ericmark, not sure what you mean by you would not classify it as a nuisance trip, but I simply meant nuisance trip as it is a nuisance when your using the oven and it causes the RCD to trip and following using the oven and it causes the RCD to constantly trip time after time until the...
Hi all,
Want to know what sort of IR readings I should be expecting between the case and the various elements (with the elements disconnected of course) of my Electrolux Steam fan oven as in recent times it has been tripping the RCD.:(
I have had it switched off at the local...
There a number of options and a lot of electric garage doors have the option to hard wire a button or a extra low voltage input to open/close them, and often can be interfaced with automation type relay modules; however security is a big concern. What happens if you open it up whilst your away...
I have seen a number of videos on YouTube of people talking about their car subwoofers and the respective "motors"; what from what I can tell, the motor is the round big bit at the back of the subwoofer what contains what I would call the voice coil.
Is "motor" just another name for the voice...
They don't have bulbs, what they have is a non replaceable LED COB.
If the light fixture itself is at fault and it's not your electrical environment as suggested by endecotp, then you will have to replace the LED fixtures themselves.
Is anyone having odd issues with ParcelForce tracking numbers?
I dropped of a ParcelForce Express 48 package on Friday at my local post office and yesterday it said it it had both been collected from my local post office and was now at the main Gatwick hub, now all it is saying is "Awaiting...
My worst night mare as a kid , Ultrasonic cat scares that were supposed to be inaudible to humans, but were in fact painfully audible and unpleasant to me!
They emit various sounds in the 18KHz - 24KHz region usually.
I would happily ban those devices if I could!
Should also mention that my panel has the GPRS module installed. I also recall the panel giving a ARC error at the time of responding to the fault, but that did not show up in the event logs and don't know why that would even ever present such an error when no alarm receiving center has ever...
The other day for the first time in 4 years, my Pyronix Enforcer Home Control+ panel started beeping and went into a fault condition for the first time under a normal idle state.
The error what I believe caused the "fault condition" was a "SMS call Fail" event, although not sure why it...
