Hi all I have 100's of metres of twin and earth but currently wiring a circuit that will use singles. Is it possible to strip T&E and only use the live and neutral cores and only buy earth singles? Trying to avoid unnecessary costs. Regards

Yes the transformer will be used outdoors so will need one suitable for outdoor use. The only issue I have is that I have heard some people say that MR16s run off 12V AC and others from 12V DC. Thanks

Hi I am re-using an old pond light with 'MR16 12V' written on the side of the light. Does this just require a standard MR16 bulb, does this need connecting to a transformer and the flex colours are white and black which I have never seen before. Many thanks

Yes I saw on the website that it was for incandescent and fluorescent loads only, not for LED and as I was going to use this for LED lighting I just wondered why it wouldn't be suitable.

Sorry it is 12V, 40W the original connector has been cut off the wiring by someone, will measure tomorrow if it's any help. Thanks for replies
