Hi all
I have 100's of metres of twin and earth but currently wiring a circuit that will use singles. Is it possible to strip T&E and only use the live and neutral cores and only buy earth singles? Trying to avoid unnecessary costs.

Regards

Yes, but they are solid core, not stranded, so not easy to install and pull in.

Sell your hundreds of metres of twin and earth, buy singles and save the aggro of striping cable and pulling through solid cores.

Buy single core stranded cable.

Stripping T+E is not worth the effort.
Solid cores aren't as easy to pull through conduit.
You would only have bare earth wire, so that would be a bodge.

Buy proper single core stranded cable.

You'll have no trouble selling new rolls of T+E.
