hey lads,im going to tile the floor of my local pubs toilet and was wondering if these will be good enough,floor allready prepped with self leveling compound,was looking at the porcelien tiles but more expensive and a lot harder to cut. any advice muchly apprecieted,cheers...

latest update,so this morning i shut down the CH,when it cooled down i got the drip again,i took of the excisting motor and the drip stopped :shock: i rewired and put a new motor in and it started dripping again so must be the valve not closing properly,i hit the valve a couple of good whacks...

cheers ,i took some pics and dont see raised dimples on the top so looks like a complete valve change,will take the motor off tomorrow and get a better look,what u think

hi there,need some advice,my hcv in the bathroom,i changed the motor and had to spin the valve around a bit to get at the little screw and now the valve is leaking. my question is if I use an adjustable spanner on the bottom nut and the top nut,which way tightens,dont want to go the wrong way...

i was johnd,my thinking is the varnish will keep the door clean and waterproof,it being white its getting covered in finger prints,wont the varnish do that job and if not,why cheers

cheers again footprints,the whole valve was changed about 2 years ago,i already have a spare motor so will just leave it and see what happens,if it stops working then can change the motor,and if that dosent work then will get my plumber mate in to replace the whole valve. is there any problems...

cheers footprints,i made a mistake,its the central heating valve,the hot water one makes the noise u describe but the other one is a lot louder and seems to be getting louder and longer over time if that makes sense
