Bath Sealant For Use On Natural Stone Tiles?

Sorry, should have clarified, it's stone tile up to a plastic bath. Tends to start peeling away from the stone after a while.

Bath Sealant For Use On Natural Stone Tiles?

Hi, I'm looking to reseal my bath, but have recently discovered I've been using the wrong sealant for natural stone tiles in the past, made fairly obvious by the fact it seems to peel away from them over time... On reading the tube (which I've never done, sealant's sealant, right?!) most...

    Privet Hedge - Price Check

Hi, I'm looking to have a 10 metre strip of lawn removed, and bare root privet planted, I would do it myself but I've got a bit of an injury at the moment and time is ticking in terms of planting (I want it up and running this year). As such I want to get a few opinions of how much I could...

    Torbec Flow Restrictor....

Just FYI for anyone viewing this in the future, [email protected] just bounced back my message. I'm still not 100% sure on this and don't want to damage the unit, so I'm contacting the manufacturer (if I can) unless anyone who fits these daily knows for sure :)

    Torbec Flow Restrictor....

Thanks for the info, just FYI I've just taken a photo of the offending item. So from what Footprints has said, and from the second diagram I posted, it looks like the pointed/handle end should point downwards (the opposite to the first diagram I posted, but that seems to have some sort of...

    Torbec Flow Restrictor....

Hi all, Currently having the misfortune to have to fix a leak coming from somewhere on my Torbec, I've taken the feed pipe off and much to my disappointment the flow restrictor worm fell out, trouble is I've no idea which way round it goes back in. I've found two conflicting images, I think...

    New Tree Or Shrub Suggestion

I'm looking to replace the acer that hasn't done too well in the middle of our front lawn, in fact it seems to have died completely now, all the leaves have turned brown and crispy (I've just run my hand up a branch and the lot's come off) and the branches almost look black in places like...

    54mm Pipes?!

Already a time served apprentice, just not in plumbing  Know what you mean squeaky, certainly seems to be a bit of The Magic Circle about it at times!

    54mm Pipes?!

A perfect and self explanatory site, most excellent, thanks.

    54mm Pipes?!

I'm only going off what it actually says on the bend/elbow itself, I'm just concerned about 2"/50mm being too small as both are smaller than 54mm by a fair bit, but if you say that's right that'll do for me

    54mm Pipes?!

This is what I'm confused about, so 50mm is compatible with 54mm (which is what I'm looking for specifically) then?

    Are alloy wheels worth having?

I like alloys and wheels in general, I think they "make" a car. BUT when I have them I'm hyper paranoid about kerbing them, much cheaper to buy a replacement wheel trim from the manufacturer than repair an alloy!

Potterton fault has the repairmen stumped!

I know nothing about such things but have experience repairing other things, to me this sounds like a sensor/electronics fault rather than mechanical. Tends to be the case when you get "ghost" errors, just like on a car, as they've not looked at the electronics or sensors (from what you said...

    54mm Pipes?!

Thanks but nothing there that's 54mm unless I'm missing something? Some good tips chaps but would a 2" pipe fit on 54mm, it works out a bit bigger, not much tolerance on solid plastic pipes and elbows/bends unless they've got rubber surrounds as mine has. I don't think anything 50mm would be...

    54mm Pipes?!

That makes sense :D Just been looking for merchants in the Stockport area and this is the type of wall I keep hitting, just as an example... http://www.cityplumbing.co.uk/getListDetails?listId=332385&hierarchyName=OsmaWeld%20Waste&hierarchyType=CATEGORY&category=274058&attribute=-1

    54mm Pipes?!

Only online at the moment bud, I didn't think there was much point checking without speaking to you guys first as even Googling the size doesn't bring much back. There's certainly none showing in plastic at Plumb Center, it's all copper.

    54mm Pipes?!

Hi folks, Got a bit of a strange one here, I have a plastic waste pipe coming through the wall from the washer and I want to replace the 90 degree bend and lengthen the pipe that runs into the drain (it's been cut about 3" above the drain hole and also has no bracket securing it to the wall)...
