    Appreciate that - thought tho if the main pump was not working properley then it wouldnt heat the cylinder up as quick therefore there would be a lack of hot water on demand. The shower pump does have its own supply off the top of the hwc via a surrey flange.

    Say for instance;- Hot water cylinder = 110 litres pump rating = 9 litres per min say 50/50 hot /cold water then amount of hot water pumped = 4.5 litres per min therefore it will take 110/4.5 = 24 minutes to empty the tank Or is it not that simple?
