I’m not sure what you mean by independent control? It’s always been the Potterton controller that has been used for the heating only to set the times to come on and off.

Basically the water storage tank, heating comes on heats up the water in the tank which I think is then causing condensation to form in the pipe that comes out of the wall of my house that then causes a constant drip. Just wanted to know if I can do anything to stop the constant dripping?

Hi, the steam in my hot water tank is condensing on/in the plastic overflow pipe and causing drip onto my gas box outside in the cold weather it can ice up badly any ideas how to stop this dripping Cheers

How thick can you apply roughcast on wall it’s going over old roughcast the guys haven’t put on any scratch coat will this be ok.

Had another go at it, turns out you have to screw chrome ring of the unit the guy installed it that tight the full unit was turning in the ceiling had to pull it down enough to get fingers on it to keep it still while unscrewing cover Cheers
