    Hello, I plan to get an electric towel radiator for a small bathroom instead of a standard gas heating system radiator. From experience would this be suffice for heat when cold ( its a well insulated warm house) but mostly to dry towels all year round. Any advice appreciated. Many thanks

    Rotten joist repair

    Hello, due to a water leak a small section of joist is rotten. To repair would you recommend chopping out and replacing the section or screw battons each side to strengthen? Or is there another way Many? Many thanks

    Tiling over old adhesive?

    Hello, I've remove old tiles from our bathroom and there is either old adhesive or small areas of plaster missing (leaving patches of a sandy wall). Could I simply remove all proud/loose bits to level then prime and retile or should more be done before retiling? Many thanks

    Outside tap vibrates the pipes when turned on?

    Hello, Our outside tap, when turned on seems to vibrate the pipes and there is a loud noise like a power tool, however the loud noise/vibrating goes when the tap is fully turned on or if you turn on a tap inside the house.at the same time. Any suggestions appreciated.

    Hello, I plan to use sleepers to divide a gravel parking area and a turfed area. If the sleepers are sat in to the ground around 3 or 4" deep would I need to sit them on a small bed of concrete or simply on the ground. Many thanks

    Tiling a wall - filling holes where plaster has come off?

    Hello, I plan to tile a wall however when having a door replaced some small chunks of the plaster has come off, I have a bonding agent to apply to the wall but I wondered if I needed to fill these holes first with something or would the adhesive fill the gaps? Many thanks

    Hello, I plan to tile our hall floor but the concrete floor has thick black coating on top (bitumen, screed?) It's a 1960's property and all the floors have this. Do I simply add adhesive and tile or would this floor require something else before this? Many thanks

    Hello, yes there was a joining piece of wire, and the red seems to be the perm live on the 4 core cable.

    Fitting JG speedfit T's to non JG 22m pipe

    Hello, in the loft its 15mm gray plastic pipe (apologies in comes down to a 22mm). I need to T in to this gray 15mm with JG speedfit 10mm pipe. Would I use JG 15mm inserts on this pipe or something else? Any advice appreciated.
