    Ripping out Plasterboard - Asbestos?

Hi, I'm currently removing some plasterboard wall panels because of a mould contamination in the flat. I'm pretty sure they were fitted after 1981. Should I be concered about any possible asbestos? Thanks Edit: The brand is gyproc , if that helps.

Help fixing border damaged wall (pics)

The aftermath of removing a border: http://imgur.com/T2ugRpe It goes across the whole room. I was thinking I should use something like pollyfiller to fix this plasterboard wall but wanted to get a second opinion on a possible alternative/easier way of doing it. Thanks.

Hi, Some of the walls in my flat are extremely cold, yet there's no visable condensation on my windows. I know it can take less humidity to grow mould than to than to cause condensation...Which has me worried.. I air the flat out often but I've read about how just having the heating on +...

    Painting over pollyfilla

Before giving my walls an undercoat, i had filled over a few holes and cracks. Two coats of white silk later, the white pollyfilla patches still show through. They are vauge, but still show. I really don't want to take the risk of applying my final finish, only to find them still visable. Is...

    Wall Undercoat question

Hi, I just read that for any surface not painted in the past 5 years, a 'Primer' should be used. *Sigh* If so, should i use this as well as the undercoat that i planned, or does one substitute the other? Also, i have some 'Brilliant white Rich Matt' from a few years back. Can i use this as an...
