I saw this site advertised on Facebook https://www.outletfix.com The prices seem far too cheap. Has anyone any experience with these types of websites? Is it fake? It just seems too good to be true, and this is the reason as to why I am asking people here...

    Paint or spray paint?

I have sliding wardrobe doors. The plastic shiny front has peeled off! I can see they were cheap buys, but we bought the house and 4 years ago they were fine. Now the plastic stuff has peeled off and cracked. I am guessing it was heat shrunk onto the MDF doors. Taking off the stuff the MDF...

Require info for installation of electrics to my new worksho

How were you planning to connect the armoured cable to the supply? That is where I needed the electrician. I shall ignore the other comments, which is not needed. I live on over 300mg morphine a day. The workshop is to allow me to do things; even if its for just 10 minutes. It will just...

Require info for installation of electrics to my new worksho

Mmm not what I wanted to hear. I am living on very little money and don't want to fill others pockets. I am competent, but not sure on what is needed. I have already put the wiring in, I am sure not going to take all of out. If not I shall just take a good guess and do it anyway

    Need to remove downlights

Thanks for the reply. We moved here in Jan and it seems the house has had work done by a bodgers anonymous. Its bloody frustrating and on close inspection it seems they have cemented the dam thing in with chalk! So I have no options left other than to rip it down. I then have no idea how I...

    Ferris magents

I am on the hunt for some strips of ferris magnets. I want to make my own knife racks as I have lots of reclaimed teak and mahogany. I have just moved to Lincs from Wales and the good thing when I was in Wales the local tip let people take wood that was thrown away. In England it seems that...

    Evolution 255mm rage3 bargain

I have been doing finer work than that on it and its fine. I have been building a bench and other things and all have worked well. Oak floors will be a doddle with it but do ensue the angles are right and if nec set them yourself. And, if not satisfied all ways send it back

    Evolution 255mm rage3 bargain

Hi, you are very cautious and thats good. Its going great, have had to do some adjustments as the alignments are out a bit, but thats sorted. As for cost and what you get for the price I would still say its the best for under £200. And, I would say buy it

    Evolution 255mm rage3 bargain

It has enough depth for the skirting board and more so your fine. As has been said before you will need to check it and adjust and tweak the angles. I had set squares on mine and I site the angles correctly. The manufacturers should be ashamed of themselves that with the precise cutting tools...
