    hot water tank in cupboard,myson boiler.Last week or so when switching hot water on or off there have been grinding/whirring noises coming from near tank.A friend has said this might be a diverter valve.Could this be right?

    hollow tiles and bent walls

    where the walls run off the tiler will have put a lot more adhesive on the tile,so this will look like it is away from the wall, once grouted it should be ok as long as the tiles are on level.May have been better to get a plasterer in first if walls were really bad.

    bricks at front of house have been removed and vents stuck on top of eaves so from outside it looks fine.
