Morning gents any tips for removing burn marks on the side of my oak doors ,tried hand sanding but not having much luck.

Hi gents my boiler is dropping pressure i can fill it back up to 1 bar and within 3 days its down to.5 is there any other reason other than a leak for this to happen also noticed when i filled it back up water dripping from the overflow pipe from the boiler. thanks

Hi we have had the alarm for about 10-12 years no probs, i knocked the mains of yesterday and the alarm reverted to the battery as it should but the alarm sounded till i switched the mains back on, could this be an indication that the battery is us. thanks

Hi gents the house was built early 60s so no earth on the lighting side, all the lights in the house just have the 2 cables going to them black and red except for the bathroom which has 2 red cables its just a normal pull switch and is not switched from anywhere else any ideas.

Hi people im thinking i may need a new syphon taking 2 or 3 attempts before it will flush, the syphon is 11 inch not including the threads the assistant at the plumbers tells me that the size is not an issue, not quite sure this is correct. The system is close coupled any advice thanks.

Hi gents i need to remove the internal beading to replace some misted units. Do i need to keep my scrapper flat against the glass and push it in behind the black seal or start in the corners were the beading is mitred and start there. Also is it the longest or shortest first. thanks.

Hi gents i have a tv unit that needs tidying up a bit there are a lot of scratches and chips in the veneer, is it safe to use a paint stripper on it so we can restain or do we need to sand it. would a wood filler take care of the chips, this unit is about 15 20 years old with wood veneer.
