    Hi i had an extension completed almost a year ago .I now have a creaky floor i have read various posts about this as the floor is chipboard floor!.My question is there are no noggins bracing the joists! is this the norm or could this be the root of my problems?.Thanks :shock:

    ROLLER SHUTTER GARAGE DOOR

    Hi i have just had a roller shutter door fitted,the driveway slopes off approx 2 inches,so the lower seal fits snug on one side and there is a gap of 2 inches on one side!.Has anybody any way of overcoming this? Many thanks in advance. :(

    Hi just a quick question for you all,just had a new door and two windows fitted.My friend says when he had his windows fitted he received a certificate from fensa .My installer is not fensa registered and he says i will not be receiving a certificate? Is this this ok?.Thanks :shock:

    Thanks for the reply.had a quick look round at diy shops,thinking about trying some kind of plasterboard fastener,something that opens up inside the cavity.Straw, like you say very unusual!!!.Its a conventional house nothing special! :)

    What is the best way to fix a 45" x 38" mirror to a bathroom wall,ideally i dont want to have any visable fixings.Would it be ok to use an adhesive such as no nails?.The mirror is to go inside an old window opening which has since been boarded and skimmed over.Thanks. :?

    Thankyou for the reply.The pipe is about 8 foot from floor level,so i guess it would be quite a spray of water if ther was a pressure problem in the boiler! :shock:

    Just a quick question are they any rules ref, the position of the overflow pipe i have noticed that most pipes at the end are angled towards the wall.Mine points straight down.Sounds silly but with children playing near the pipe.Is it hot or cold water which may leak from the pipe.
