What are the 2 small pipes connected to the fan assembly? One red, one transparent. It doesn't say in the manual.

we keep getting a few pongy whiffs coming from the sink drains, I've attached a pic of the waste pipes underneath, its a bit busy as u will see, i take it if I remove the 2 U bends, make sure there's no blockages try n clean all the other pipes best I can then replace the u bends? we've tried...

hi RC, thanks for posting. gona have a bash this wkend. i took off all the loose bits left me with about a foot square (ish hole). will do as you say, thanks. (would love to bin the whole lot and have it properly done).

just an update, after finally removing the old one and removing an extra couple of joints i got working, quite simple really, just no room at all to kneel down and fix, i had to lie down.... nightmare, but done, had a tiny leak at 1 point, but tightened up with spanner a tad more and all was OK.
