Shower Z fitting to straight through?

It's weird as you would (hope) they were all the same in design. The Mira's filters are way past where the Triton is. Both covers are the same depth. The Triton covers are alloy, however the Mira are plastic. I might mask and cut some off the depth of the Mira. Maybe half an inch or so and go...

Shower Z fitting to straight through?

Hi folks. We tried to replace the shower bar from a Triton minuto this weekend with a Mira Coda. Unfortunately we couldn't because the bar fitting for the Mira is the straight through type and the z fitting threads aren't long enough. Would we have to start digging tiles out to replace these or...

    KSB5516 replacement. Tamper?

Hi folks. Does anyone know if the internal sounder has a tamper on it if I try and replace it? Makes an electrical humming noise now and again. The keypad is also a bit ropey so don't fancy trying to input the code whilst that is on! I should add the alarm is a late 90s c&k securitech job with...

How to change euro lock on french door?

Yes, that is the slave/secondary door I guess you call it, which the other latches into. I'll try and get another picture but only those latches are on offer. I can't see another way to easily remove it compared to mine which have 4 big screw heads to remove along the length of it. Thanks for...

How to change euro lock on french door?

Hi folks. Hopefully someone can help guide us how to replace the euro lock on this french door. It is different to mine as there are no obvious ways to take the mullion off (no large screws). Is this a glass out job? Many thanks Andrew

    Suprima 40 flow/return pipe swap!

Hi folks. I have a suprima 40 which I was going to swap the heat exchanger for a new to keep it going a bit longer. The gas engineer can't budge the nuts! We're left with trying to source new pipes and cut the old ones. The part number baxi gave me seems incorrect (5102730), the pipes are a...

Suprima heat exchanger swap & derust?

The boiler has had a replacement pcb/loom in the past and functions ok. I am getting some kettling so suspect the heat exchanger, hence the swap. Not intending to replace it if possible!

Suprima heat exchanger swap & derust?

Hi folks I've acquired a new cast heat exchanger to replace the existing one on our suprima boiler. It has slight surface rust inside, would be it worth filling the inside with a rust neutraliser/dip to clear any off before fitting, or is this a waste of time? If so what product should I look...
