Hi folks.
I have a suprima 40 which I was going to swap the heat exchanger for a new to keep it going a bit longer. The gas engineer can't budge the nuts! We're left with trying to source new pipes and cut the old ones.
The part number baxi gave me seems incorrect (5102730), the pipes are a different shape.
Worst case could you use the 'flanged' end from a couple of those pipes, new nuts and couplers if the old pipes are cut off the exchanger or are we asking for trouble?
The boiler works well enough but knocks a bit on heat up. Had a power flush too which improved it a little. Thanks for any advice!
