hi i have a vauxhall corsa automatic am feeling a slight jolt moving between 1st and 2nd gear all other changes are nice and smooth can anyone tell me what the problem is (could be) and how i can cure. thanks tony

thanks for replys....... sorryi ment that i checked the transmission oil level with engine running. the engine oil i checked at operating tempature with engine off. and yes the transmission oil is a nice red colour

hi im looking for the name of a specific tool. it looks like a normal socket but has pins inside of it enabling it to grip any worn nut securely so as to be able to undo it. i need to loosen an alan key bolt which has rounded off and has restricted access. any helps greatly appreciated. thanks TONY

I aim to replace the head gasket on my peugeot 405 1.9 td my only concern is what caused the blow in the first place. (i never had any problems with overheating) . I am told that gaskets do blow on occasion with nothing necessarely wrong with engine .Is that correct?? are there any precauctions...
