I just installed some window sills made of mdf, but i forgot to use mdf primer :cry: , i have used gloss and its now soaking into the wood, have i just ruined them? will it dry out? can i primer over the top of the dried paint? Many thanks!

yup, underfloor heating can be great, or cr@p. Install it properly and you'll never have problems. I've seen some really bad attempts.
