® Did you know?

It was a reply to minion about the lack of girls names in the list when Mohamed is top in the UK for boys he brought the subject up in the first place. It seems some don't like the BBC report on the cause.

Please show where the BBC report says that selective abortion is the cause of the lack of traditional Muslim girl's names in the top 10.

Did you know, I was 6 months old when I realised 'Here boy" was not my name!!!!

Whats Muslims and girls and abortion got ro do with did you know ?

It started like this:

Did you know the most popular name for boys born in 2025 was Muhammad.
That's because we are being colonised...
Its actually a result of some mildly interesting cultural naming changes, but yeah, go with that.

Did you know there were no traditional Muslims girls names in the top 10 names?

And then Aveatry used it as an excuse to vent his Islamophobia.

Can you blame him? The UK, the world, is being over run by them....people like you, are welcoming them...you can't see past your blinkers!

No aveatry posted this link on the BBC that explains why. Keep your head in the sand and ignor it then.
When our kids were being born in Newham in the late eighties, Newham General had a policy of not divulging the sex of the foetus when scanning took place as they found that a high percentage of female foetus' were being aborted by Muslim women.

Interesting anecdote. I don't think anyone disagrees that it doesn't ever happen, more the rate at which it happens is vastly overstated.

I think the research shows that the rate it happens is decreasing despite the greater access to gender detection tools. Presumably it's as the communities assimilate with UK culture.
