“First safe country”

The question we are discussing is why a Syrian man might leave his family temporarily in Turkey in order to try to claim asylum in the UK.
The family are no longer in danger after escaping from Syria. Turkey is relatively safe. You are deflecting again.
The deflection is putting up non arguments as to why they can't go to the nearest safe country. You seem to want to avoid the obvious answer.

It's not about being safe, it's about seeking out a better life.

You are conflating two separate decisions. There are two steps for a genuine refugee family.

First, escape their home country where they are in danger.

Second, decide which country they would like to make their new home.

The overwhelming majority will decide to stay in that first safe country. A small minority will decide to make a new life further afield.

Correct.

Expect more waffle, deflection and an answer to questions you haven't asked.

Nosenout pretends to ignore that I am 6 years younger than him and in a happy relationship with a woman and have been for a few years.

Not cut out for marriage - no just married for 20 years before I realised life is too short to be with the wrong person, just because you've been together for 25 years.

42% of marriages end in divorce.

Who really likes the ex wife....come on man...
I don't despise her.. I was a little annoyed that she spent £100k getting a worse deal in court than the offer I made in mediation. But she knows best and wont be told...
