Has anyone got a set of the XI-ON sockets and what's you opinion of them?

Just want set of larger sizes for the likes of hub nuts and filter caps. Normally I'd go for a set of 6pt sockets but a lot of folk think XI-ON are grand for rounded fasteners.

They look interesting, no harm in having them in your armoury.
I've personally never felt the need for sockets such as this but saying that I probably will now!

Indeed, anything useful is a welcome armoury addition.

I found the same set at a better price on this website which I understand is F.O.C. delivery.

I've already got a set of these but some of them are a bit slack and tend to jam. Sykes-Pickavant were making these about 30 years ago so not really a new but they do work.

I honestly can't see how a standard single hex socket could round a head off.

Sadly a lot of my collection of sockets and spanners are imperial so now redundant.
