Looks like a 1/2" extension. You can get them in any plumbers merchants. They come in different lengths as well

I wish all my work was heating but someone has to do it. That sort of stuff is generally my bread and butter.

If you can stay busy all week just doing heating work why would you change a tap even if you were asked.

I might have a job coming up in St Johns Wood which will require multiple zones and possibly a low loss header. I have no problem with multiple zones but haven't any experience on installing LLH's. I know the theory etc. just not sizing and whatever else it entails. Would you be interested in working something mutually beneficial out. It's not a dead cert yet. I know you work in the area so immediately thought of you.

Can also be purchased in chrome , normally used by the lazy bastads when changing a radiator.
