Drayton 28mm 2ports come with internal fitments and olives similar to danfoss rad valves they only fit there valve. honeywell 2ports come in 2 flavours either 28mm compression or for iron pipe which will take a 1" male iron or in theory you could directly thread it onto a nipple.
You could have got over either situation with a couple of irons /couplings

not enough room to fit in the couplings,you would have to see it to beleive it 4 zone valves in a tiny cupboard with no room to move nevermind repipe or fit couplings. thinking of cutting the fittings of and putting a 28mm zone valve straight in.U wot?
