The large radiator in my living room has gone cold and is not heating up at all. I have read through a few different threads and tried everything. I have a Danfoss TVR which i removed and checked the pin moves in and out....which it does. . It's been snowing in Scotland (a lot!!!) and it was -11C last night. The rad is on the outside wall to the front of the house. Have the pipes frozen? if so how do you unfreeze them? trying a hairdrier now but no joy yet. Also both pipes leading to radiator are cold and all my other radiators are working fine! Please help.

Could be an airlock or a blockage.

Have you turned all other rads off by the TRV but the cold one to try and flush it through?
