Hi All

Need some advice, I'm fitting new TRV's , The main problem is theres not much pipe to play with as it comes out the wall and rises about 90mm, so the plan is to carefully cut the old olive off the 10mm pipe and just hope it will seal, i have 15mm valves so planning to use 1 piece reducers.

Is there any better way to do it like using a reducer that you solder on to the 10mm pipe.

Help needed please.

soldered reducer is my prefered method of doing it,had plenty of probs with one piece reducers, even with the olive splitter tool.

Can't you use 10mm TRVs. You should also be able to get away with using the existing 10mm olives and compression nuts.

Much neater and quicker!
