Hi was wondering if you could answer the following question with regards to radiator replacement. I am replacing 3 of my radiators which currently use 10mm piping connecting to either ends of the radiator. I wish to replace the pipes with 15mm Chrome-plated pipe, just below the floor with compression converter fittings, will this cause any issues with regards to a drop in pressure in the system and its functionality? The current system is gravity fed from a tank in my loft. I'm assume this should be ok as it is only a 20-30cm section I'm replacing for Aesthetics sake. Your advice would be greatly received. Cheers Dave. :D

Once asked senior assistant at local Dumbcentre for some 10 to 15 increasers.Had him looking for 15mins before he realised i was taking the pi$$.

I once had one look for a 36 by 18 cylinder for 15 mins before i lost the rag and told him its 3 feet high is green( foam) and holds F.ING water. And he wasn`t taking the ****.

Sounds like my BG days.

1/2 hour on the phone for an FFD for a cooker.

Daft bird eventually come back with "is it the chrome headed dome screw you need?")

I resigned 3 days later.

Mental torture.

Hello Davester,

did you have any luck with using 15mm chrome off 10mm? i'm about to embark on the same thing and wondered if all was well?

You will probably need to get the chrome off the ends of the pipe where you want to attach the compression fittings, sometimes the olives won't fit and it can be hard to get a good seal.
