I'm installing a 12kw electric boiler, the manual just specifies a 63a isolator and mcb at the meter and a 63 amp 2 pole isolator at the boiler. Does anyone see any in fitting a 63amp 30ma RCD in the circuit too?

I wouldn't have thought there is any need.
There is no need (16th ed).
However, the Amtech boilers specify one must be installed.
