16th vs 17th Edition tester

I have recently purchased the Megger MFT1552 16th Edition tester.

Will this be OK for the 17th Edition requirements? Does anyone know what the changes are?

I would hate to think that spending £600 on the tester was not worth it......

I dont want to buy another tester next year......so annoying.

Your new MFIT will be more than adequate for the job.

Unless the 17th edition has found a new way for testing the usual:
Continuity, Insulation resistance, Earth loop, RCD etc then your tester will be fine.

BTW does anyone know if there will be a new OSG to complement the 17th edition You would think so. Hope Im not hijacking this thread

I would think that the only additional test which may be required is an RCD ramp test.
