In addition to my other recent similar topic....Does anyone have anything to say specifically on the Ryobi 18v circular saw?

Done a little looking into it and have a couple of questions...How does it perform from battery power? Will it cut 8ft foot lengths of sheet materials (ply) at 188mm thick? Whats the size like - as its smaller than regular corded saws right? Are blades easy to find - it has a 150mm blade right with a 10mm bore (is this correct).....after a very quick blade search I didn't find much for replacing these blades!!

Does anyone have experience with these?

circular saws will cain the batteries regardless off make
1 assume your talking 18mm yes it will cut several lengths
no problems with a 1.7ah battery 2.4 lion better 4ah lion all day long probably

I posted a few years ago , on how many cuts it could manage in some 12mm chipboard. I've forgot how many

People tend to forget that batteries run out and moan when these saws don't cut everything all day long.

If you are doing lots of cuts on the ground, use a mains saw. If you are doing lots of cuts up on the roof, take a few batteries
