1988 Heatslave 12/14 burner motor not pre-purging

Hi, (1994) Selectos D11 burner unit is not pre purging the chamber only making buzzing sound then a click, then after 5 seconds goes into lockout.

Thinking may be faulty control unit Satronic TF832.3.

Any suggestions....Motor, Capacitor,

1994 model not 1988

Check for seized oil pump / Motor, check capacitor.

Short terminals to ensure its discharged.
Remove one wire and measure across cap terminals with a suitable multimeter.

Yes, absolutely, I bought the heatslave second hand from my Bro when it was 3 yrs old as he needed the bigger model following his extension to his home...he bought it in 1991...changed most parts in burner unit over the years but stilll good boiler and easy to work on.

Hi Lads,

It was the capacitor after all..loads of brown stuff leaking from it so replaced and everything good motor fan and firing well...
