2 Bathroom spot lights not working

Hello,

I have 4 spot lights in a bathroom and 2 of them don't work. I've tried swapping bulbs etc. The bulbs are the halogen ones with the 2 pins.

Is there anything simple that I can try doing myself before calling an electrician!

How accessible is the wiring, and the power supplies for the lights?

You may have had some cabling come adrift, or lampholder failures, or the failure of the thing supplying the 12V for the lights.

It's in an apartment so only got access through the small round light holes once the lights are out

Remove the light fittings carefully and gently pull the cable, you should be able to remove any junction box or transformer through the hole.
