2 problems, heating on when hw only and banging pipes

Gas4you. I had the head off to see if the bit in there was turning when i switched from hw, ch and both.

I have a bigger problem now. Got home and was going to check something else when I noticed that the actuator body was hot. the system has power but both hw and ch are off. I turned off all power and i heard the valve reset to normal position. This to me does not seem good and now when i tuen on hw things click and the boiler starts but the valve does nothing and the pump wont start. Looks like im shopping tomorrow for one but is there a way to make the pump run. I need some hw tonight?

Only if you remove wires and temporarily rewire and set spindle manually to HW

Got new parts today and now all working nicley. Thanks for all your help.
