i have purchased a new 2 way dimmer today so i can connect the new wall lights i have installed to the line.

i have succsesfully wired the first dimmer but am haveing trouble with the second, i do not know how to transfer power to the wall lights from the existing wires.

here is a diagram of what i have done so far i would really aprichiate if someone could tell me what i need to do to get power from the 1st dimmer to the second to power my wall lights.

You haven't got a neutral at that switch, You'll either have to get one to the switch or do your 3 plate wiring at a remote junction box or something

thanks for the fast reply.

is there a way i can just cross a wire from the existing wires (the ones on the right) so i can get power to go into the left and feed the wall lights?

You can link the live across, but there is no neutral there to take, just live and switched live

One way to do it is to replace the existing cable with 3 core and earth, because wherever that wire ends in the ceiling, there will be a neutral.
