2 way dimmer

have just tried to change a double switch to a double dimmer but it dont work, please help i know basic diy so english not too many specialist words please.

A double switch (i.e. 2-gang) and a 2-way switch are different things.

Are you talking about one switch with two rockers controlling two lights, or two switches controlling one light from two locations?

How did you transfer the wiring from the switch to the dimmer, and what does "not working" mean?

hi ban all sheds, it was a switch for controlling two different lights, and the dimmer has 2 knobs, when I put electric back on when I turned them the lights didnt come on, did I buy the right ones

What wires have you put where?

Have you tried pushing the knobs in, or just turnng them?

tried to take one wire out at a time and put it in the new one, the knobs just turn and you can hear the click of them turning on. but no light

Are both switches/dimmers not working?
Did you draw where the wires went before you started so that you could revert back to the original configuration?
