Have been looking at the 2 way switch connections in the FAQs and have confused myself a little.
I am changing a 1 way (1 gang) switch to 2 way (1 gang) the new second switch is just at the other side of the wall, so all I have to do is drill through and connect up.
I have two brown wires in the existing switch and was thinking that all I would have to do is run one of these wires to the COM on the replacement switch and one through the wall to the COM on the new switch and then connect L1 to L2 and L2 to L1. but I didn't see this way of wiring a 2 way switch in the FAQs, have I got it wrong.
Any advice or confirmation would be welcome.
Thanks
Duff
