My father decided to fit new switchs and got confused. I have a double switch downstairs controlling hall light and landing light and a single switch up stairs. For the double switch I have 2 red wires, a black, a blue and a yellow. Upstairs for the single I have the same wiring plus a third single red. Any chance of a wiring diagram or good instructions.
Thanks.

on the downstairs switch, T&E: to the switch you want to work the downstair light (red to com, black to l1, though it doesn't matter if you put them the other way), and for the switch you want to work the upstairs lights, from the 3+e, yellow to common, red to l1, bue to l2

on the upstairs, duplivcate the wireing of the 3+e, and put the red from the twin in with the red, and the black in with the blue, I don't know what the single red is, pop it in a choc block, see if any lights in the house don't work, if thats the case, put it in with the other reds
