Hello folks, today I fitted a second light switch in my garage so that there's a switch by each entrance, and wired it up to the original switch.
When I turned the power back on, I found that the new switch works but the old one now doesn't do anything!
The old one is a two-gang switch that also controls an outside light, which still works...
Unless they used to make two-gang switches that were one-way , I'm wondering if the old switch (from the 50s or 60s maybe) might be faulty...?
Any ideas on this would be appreciated
