2001 Renault Scenic Megane Heater/AC

Hi. this morning i got in my car and the blowers and the ac were not working. It has been cold weather lately with a lot of snow. the air con lights come on but no air comes out of the blowers. any response would be appreciated. Suzanne

Best to go for a fuse check first.....there's one fuse box under the bonnet close to the battery, and another one in the glovebox, under a drop down lid. The fuse function should have some sort of diagram nearby.

Check fuse F28 which should be a 20 amp inside the car, this feeds the blower motor. If the control panel appears to light up as it should then i would expect the blower motor to at fault, sometimes its just in need of a good clean up or brushes have worn away as it tends to get left on all the time.

Could be the speed control resistor or the motor.
