2007 petrol fiesta intermittent starting

My 2007 petrol fiesta intermittently starts.
Dashboard lights come on but silence when turning the key. No clicking sound or anything.
After a few attempts it usually starts.
Battery appears to be fine. Got same issue with jump leads connecting it to my other car.
I'm guessing the starter relay.
Any other thoughts?

Yeah, could be. Guess that'd be a pain to replace as opposed to the relay. Probably try replacing the relay first.

Just remove the steering column shroud and see if you are getting a feed out of the switch. If you are, see if that feed is getting to the starter motor. If not, then try replacing random parts…….

try the starter relay ,should be a four pin relay ,you can try a donor relay from your fuse box to confirm fault
