Agree. But need much more info to even offer any serious advice.
Find an auto transmission specialist in your area - and that doesn't include Ford!
I agree with the two posts above......I did this with an 07 Focus but nothing changed at all - apart from no change out of a £ton.

Sorry for the brief description before
The car goes into neutral, it will reset but the engine management stays on
Had a diagnostic code that came back as
P0766:00-A8 shift solenoid
P284B:00-28 shift fork

Keithmac rebuilt the auto transmission on his Ford (I forget the model) some time ago. Might be worth searching for those posts.
