2015 Picanto 1.0 TA engine oil

Officially, it should have 5w20 API SM/SN oil but since we have a stock of VW 5w30 504.00/507.00 spec oil, would the Picanto's engine be content running on the 5w30?

Its the CVVT engine but I don't know how delicate it is.

Personally I think that oil would be just fine for the Kia / Hyundai.....nice and thin when cold so it gets where its needed and a little thicker when hot.
I think these engines come from the Daihatsu dynasty, and 5/30 is recommended anyway.

504.00/507.00 spec 5w30 has a high specification for wear and sludge which is always a benefit. All the other cars we have run on it, even the 2009 i20 which has a 1.2 G4FA engine.
