Has anyone used these?


They sound too good to be true Seen them in TLC

Life of bulb and power consumption look excellent. But price is pricey and light output is......??

Also seen them with 12,15(above),18 and 30.

Hi,
I've got 4 in use. They're rather pretty. two are over a computer workstation and two built into overbed canopy. Enough light to read comfortably at both. Beam is fairly concentrated so little nuisance to others in room wanting to (say) watch television. I bought mine from TLC at about £6 each. I'll use more in the future. Unfair to compare directly with 50W bulbs for same fitting as these are only 1.5W. Light per watt is amazing and of course they only generate a small amount of heat.

Found out that they are equivalent to a 20w bulb.
