I'm building a 2x6 timber frame for log cabin to go on, and for floor joists i have already bought some jiffy long leg hangers and was originally going to wrap the hanger over the joists, although i have now thought that because the log cabin will be built on outer perimeter, i do not want to have any joist hangers preventing it being flush.
where can i get some joist hangers that will support 2x6 timber face fix (i DO NOT want them to wrap over the top of joists)
p.s. another alternative is to cut the legs off to size, on the joist hangers that i currently have, with a multi purpose mitre saw - is this ok to do?
TIA
