Hi I posted on this a month or so ago but I have now finally had to remove the old leaky and corroded Tweeny waste disposal unit. I'll not be able to get it fixed so will look for a new one in due course. In the meantime what is the simplest/cheapest way of plumbing the sink into the waste pipe. A 3.5 inch waste basket was recommended. Couldn't find anything at Wickes today - willl try B&Q tomorrow but I suspect it will be the plumbers merchants on Tuesday.
But what do I need to get ? - sinks-taps.com have several sink waste units ranging from £6-£28 with overflows, baskets, strainers, etc. that have gotten me all confused. I just want the simplest way of connecting the 3.5" hole in my sink to the standard white pipe waste manifold so I can get rid of the bucket !

Thanks for any pointers.

John
