Hi,

I've tried searching for this, but not found the answer, so forgive me if this has been asked before

My question:

Loft conversion nearing completion, and it's been recommended to have the loft in its own zone, with its own thermostat. Current heating is an old (25+ years old!) servowarm system with the boiler behind the master radiator which I've decided to change.

If I put the ground floor in its own zone with a thermostat, and place the first floor in its own zone with its own thermostat, do I need TRVs on radiators in each zone?

Many thanks 8)

Best practice, yes, in all rooms bar the one with the room stat, which would normally be a hall/landing.
