got a 3 port valve causing me problems. the valve itself is 4 months old and so is actuator head. worked til a couple of weeks ago, then decided to play up. when hot water only is selected rads heat up as well. on removing head it actuates fine, and valve is nice and moveable. it's a danfoss hs3 3port- could the valve be faulty already?

Do you have a Grundfos smart pump?

Have you been to the Castle Balti?

Are the screws holding the actuator tight? If so, slacken them slightly so that the actuator is able to slide slightly across the valve .
It is possible on these valves,(and also the sunvic models) for the actuator to be misaligned on the body, and this can inhibit the action of the valve if it is screwed down to tight.
