Hi all.

In my kids bedroom I fitted a 3 light circular spot light type fixture around 4 weeks ago. It had GU10 type bulbs in it. All was fine.

I changed the bulbs for LED dimmable GU10 type (for their dimmer switch). From the start there was a slight flicker when not at full power. After 3-4 says the bulbs no longer work, occasionally emitting a dull light, sometimes not.

So I changed the bulbs back to the originals and now they are so dull, they seem to have low voltage or something.

Is it the fixture or the light switch dimmer switch?, and have have the LED bulbs somehow damaged something?

Thanks...

Faulty dimmer is most likely.
Some dimmers are not compatible with LEDs.
If the LED lamps were obtained from dubious sources, they may not be dimmable at all and could damage the dimmer.
