3 Way Switch problem

I have installed 2 3-way switches, and have a problem, that there is continuos power to the lights that are associatated with these switches, regardless of the positions of the switches themselves.

Have a straight forward 2 line /3 line /2 line setup. Power from the 2 line feeds switch one (black to common screw/white to white of 3 way ) 2 red wires attached to transit (brass screws) between switch 1 and 2. From light black connected to common on switch 2 and white connected to white.

i think you need to get yourself a multimeter
