individual hand basins, some bidets and any low capacity services use 32mm.
push fit are more accessible, so lend themselves well to maintenance issues such as sludge removal. the rubbers in push fit do perish and flatten eventually though.
solvent fit are good in commercial situations where vandalism is an issue.
